"I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for sake of travelling. The great affair is to move."
I'm a pretty easy going guy. I love going on spontaneous adventures and meeting interesting people along the way. I would prefer to drive my Jeep than fly anywhere. A person misses too much of the good stuff up in the air.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
First off, I love to host. It's been a blast so far and I plan on continuing my hosting ways. Also, I have attended numerous events and have organized several as well.
**As I mentioned before, I love to host but before you send out a request, please have your profile filled out. I don't mind hosting you if you have few or no references but please have a complete profile. It helps me determine what kind of person I'm about to allow to come into my home.**
It's been a great experience! I host much more than I surf.
hiking, swimming, rugby, Wiffle ball, and all kinds of other random mischief.
Music, Movies, and Books
Have a new book that you found interesting? I'll read it; a movie, I'll watch it; music...sure, why the hell not? I'll listen to it too. I may not be familiar with it, but let's give it a whirl. I love satire, dark comedies, and independent films. However, as a true and through Southerner, I love Southern Gothic, e.g. O Brother Where Art Thou, Big Fish, and Confederacy of Dunces.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My carpool and I got caught in a tornado while stuck in traffic on I-95. It literally came right over us. Our car began moving and the trees were so bent you thought they were going to snap. At that point all you can do is accept your fate and watch the storm. While intense, it was very calming as well. I'm not sure how many of my 9 lives I have left but it's probably less than a handful by this point.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone has their own style and personality. I believe we can all learn something from one another.
"There's a destination a little up the road
From the habitations and the towns we know
A place we saw the lights turn low
Jig-saw jazz and the get-fresh flow
Pulling out jives and jamboree handouts
Two turntables and a microphone
Bottles and cans and just clap your hands and just clap your hands"-Beck
