My goal is to be as frugal as possible on this trip, and I would also like to meet interesting individuals with inspiring stories and lessons to teach. I didn't experience very much cultural diversity since I grew up in such a small town, and I feel as though I need to see how the rest of the world works before I can write about it honestly and empathetically.
