Hey there,

I'm a festie, been working all sorts of events and musical festivals in Ireland for the last 3 years. I've done the big corporate fairs and I've done the tiny gathering of people sitting on soggy grass in the dark listening to a banjo with no amplifier. I always prefer the latter.

Lately I've been getting a bit restless so here I am, travelling the roads with a tent, a rucksack full of clothes and a portable amplifier in order to feed true passions of mine, wandering and performing poetry and hip hop.

My goal is to re-establish the vitality and wonderment I once felt every waking day. It feels as if I've been swimming around a stagnant lake and now I want to stir up the bed beneath and see what comes bubbling to the surface (Ok, now I've scared myself)

Intereses

I am interested in the human race and human experiences. I spent 4 months working on a surf camp in France last Summer and meeting people from all over the world really excited me.

Música, películas y libros

I love dark electronic music, Breakcore / Drum and Bassy type stuff. Most artists on the Warped and Planet Mu labels. Psychedelic music is a huge love of mine, especially Psytrance. Think Shpongle, Infected Mushroom, Ott and those of that ilk. IDM! bands like Plaid and Autechre really resonate with me. I'm a ridiculous Nirvana junkie also.

And If I'm out on a proper night I freaking love me some jungle and straight up old school rave and drum and bass. Love dancing to this!

In my first summer of volunteering at festivals a few years back I managed to get between 10-15 in before the year was out, and I had only started in July! I basically lived in my tent and found the pounding sounds of giant subwoofers would only help coax me to sleep after a little while.

I would love to learn from peoples' past experiences and endeavours they have undertaken, be they failing or roaring successes. I wanna learn about you and what you're up to in life and I'd be grateful if you'd be happy to share. I will gladly share info about myself also.

I would like to hear about avenues of work I had not heard of or thought about, I am trying to get a bit of future planning for myself alongside my travels.

I'm an avid electronic music producer and and recording enthusiast. If you record yourself playing guitar, sing over tracks you download from youtube, make beats yourself in your bedroom or have a full band recording that needs some sparkle I will gladly run through some tips and suggest and explain techniques for you. I will have plenty of time on my hands if you need it, I myself get great pleasure in helping others improve and I also expect to learn from you too. I'm no guru, I just have spent a lot of time studying music technology and sound engineering.

I also enjoy cooking, I can eat all your food no problem ;) Ha, really though I do like to cook and you can kick back whilst I whip something up in the kitchen if you like.
