About Me

Figuring out what I want in life and a career.

I am fairly laid back guy, who enjoys both being active and also just plain lazy at times.
I try to communicate clearly with people (which has been interesting since living outside of the USA), and interested in making new friends if able to.
Also, I can be nerdy at times, so excuse that :).
I am a pretty clean person, who only drinks sometimes, and I don't smoke.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just Starting :).

I really enjoy martial arts, gaming(rpg, shooter, rts, TD, and many others), out-door activities in general like hiking and camping, shooting, sight seeing.
I have a strong love of cars, driving, races, and mechanics.
I enjoy learning about computers, and all things tech as well! When I return to America, I am going to Major in Computer Science.

I really love to see different cultures, and how people live in the world, and certainly not least, the food they eat! I grew up with parents who don't like to travel outside of the United States, so this is really a fresh experience to me and I am becoming addicted!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I saw redwood trees, I was around 8 years old and even tho I was tall for my age, nothing could have prepared me for seeing those giants in person. I really thought they held the sky up!

Buying my 1970 Monte Carlo, and driving her home. I have never been more proud in my life, and it is a memory I will always remember and cherish. She wasn't perfect, didn't have paint, a few motor problems, not very clean on the inside, and if you pressed too hard on the accelerator you could feel the engine yank from the missing motor mount... but I was a boy in love.

Getting out of the plane at Incheon International Airport. I had never traveled alone before, much less taken a footstep outside of the USA. People who couldn't speak english, signs I couldn't read, having to take public transportation, money I had never seen before... I was in complete shock.
It was one of the best choices of my life.
