Getting my masters degree in Materials Science from WSU in Pullman, WA
I'm French-American, and no that does not mean Canadian!
Living in different countries and cultures has really opened my mind and given me a lot of perspective. I'm tolerant, and enjoy diversity. I love sports, music, and stimulating conversation. I can't stand gossip.. I'm a bit of a foreigner wherever I go, but I'm used to it. I love meeting people who I can learn from.
Live, love learn :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to CS, but I've heard from my friends about it for a long time. I'm looking forward to hosting, but I've never had the opportunity, as I haven't had my own place in a while.
Fav sports: snowboarding, basketball, soccer, rugby.
Fav music: reggae, rock, rap, jazz (and any combination)
I love expanding my cultural horizons
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies.. Pulp fiction, MIB, Forrest Gump, James Bond, and plenty others.
Books: I'm a sci-fi/fantasy geek, brought up on Larry Niven and J.R.R. Tolkien... I've enjoyed some spiritually enlightening books recently though, Dan Millman and the Dalai-Lama for example. I read a lot, so there is too much to list here.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first thing that comes to mind is renting a couple motorbikes with my friend and touring Cambodia on a whim. Just out in the middle of nowhere on this crazy adventure. The near-death experiences and thrills, as well as stepping off the beaten tourist path, really made that trip special.
Teach, Learn, Share
If I were able to host in my hometown, I'd be passionate about my guests getting a feel for the history and soul of my city, and I hope that people hosting me feel the same way about their city.
