I'm a Kiwi, currently based in Seattle with my husband. 53. Interested in many things - and hearing about other's interests. Like to keep learning - this world is so full of interesting people and places.
Not into travelling so much at present - exploring how to do some, and still care for the our planet. Will be enjoying learning for the rest of my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just begun with CS - before this I hosted lots of travellers I met along the way in my travels. Also travelled with Servas in Europe - another hosting group for folks interested in social justice.

None so far.

Interests

I like all sorts of anything... a long list... being out in nature; sharing it with kids; sitting by a river, mountaintop, sunny spot; picnics; helping friends with their projects; river kayaking; sea-kayaking sometimes; organic gardening; permaculture; teaching about traditional food preparation; co-leader of a Westonaprice Foundation chapter in Seattle.
I like all kinds of music - the only thing I don't enjoy is heavy rock with hateful lyrics. And nothing can beat a good house party with live bands for a contradancing session !
