I am soon to embark on a trip in South America and South East Asia in order to explore everything which I have yet to discover

ABOUT ME

I am a graduate in Law who has been looking forward to travelling since the age of 18. When I am at home, I enjoy doing alot of sports, dj-ing and reading, as well as cramming in as much socialising as possible. I love to be around people, and in particular new encounters. I want to continue travelling until I find a place I feel I can lay my feet at rest and enjoy life, or at least until my feet can't carry me any further. I hope to find more than just aesthetic beauty during my travels, but also peace of mind and a greater appreciation for the different cultures and peoples inhabiting the various regions of our earth. I am keen to experience more of the local culture rather than the tourist culture in the places I go to, and I think Couchsurfing is an excellent initiative which provides exactly this opportunity. I look forward to meeting you all at some point in this small world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My participation for the next year will be more of a surfer than a host, but I hope to do much more hosting in the future, when I pass the torch on to others to find their travelling paths. This year, I look to participate by appreciating every minute of my time as a couchsurfer and hopefully contributing to the great exchange of experiences between couchsurfers. Furthermore, I hope my hosts will enjoy my company, so as to further promote the idea of such a great initative and encourage more hosting and surfing in this manner.

Interests

I am interested, first and foremost, in travelling for its capacity to make you appreicate a new culture and meet new people.
I am a very keen sportsman, having played basketball, football and tennis most of my life.
I enjoy just about every type of music, and learning about new genres, as well as dj-ing, in particular : Reggae, Electronic music (Drum and Bass, Dubstep), Dub/steppas etc...
I like to read, especially travelling books such as Jack kerouac's on the Road, and autobiographies such as Biko, Malcolm X's, Wild Swans.
