About Me

23, Student with a passion - Econ, Philosophy, Sociology, PoliSci, Stats as of now. Outside of school I loooove to play table tennis. I also like to go hiking/trekking, cycling and jogging. Lower energy activities include "philosophizing", play billiard or go bowling or also occasionally go - alone or with a friend - and play around in the gym. Yup, I don't train, I play :D

Anyways. So in general pretty upbeat, spontaneous and always up for both high energy but also low energy fun stuff.

Regarding the pictures: I hate pictures taken of me. I'm happy though to FaceTime or zoom or whatever up front to show that I am not a weirdo. Just a private person 🙃

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sure, I like to meet people while travelling, but what I really like about CS is to be resonating with someone else like strings on a guitar. Enjoying stories, food, friends, adventures so that I am torn in the end between remembering that awesome stuff and having to go on with life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Lots, actually. Sure, some charts, but also some jazz, or a classical piece. 50s/60s music is great too.
Movies: A german gem of a movie: Friendship. St. Vincent, Manchester by the Sea, Captain Phillips, Joker, oh and The Irishman. What a movie. :)
Series: Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad, Black Mirror, Ozark, Peaky Blinders
Books: I read few fictional books, but as a teen I loved "Cowboy Sommer" - Classical coming of age story, but I did love it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can and am open to teach anything I know. I love to learn - so anything. Share? Well, hey, "sharing is caring" - so anything really.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd say the quote "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get." is pretty fitting, because all people are great. And the less of a quick summary I get the more intense the experience, but I get that a little bit of transparency should exist so:

- my infectious upbeat mood ;) leading to adventurous (that does not mean successful haha) experiences
- some cuisine from germany, switzerland and even some great pasta - no really - it's simple but great.
- some philosophy - mine or that of others rather - if it sounds boring, let me tell you this :) i have not met anyone who did get a little infected by my joy for philosophy
- some stories from me: a german kid growing up with a mother only, moving to switzerland in his teens only to find his personal life raddled a bit and having to not start over but find a foothold let's say. The foothold that led me to the person I am today :)
