ABOUT ME

Well there it goes. I do get along with most people and I like making new friendships!
Some people like my sense of humour, others don´t - personally, I think it´s good ;-) After finishing school I chose volunteering at a South African school over going to the German army and it turned out to be a good choice. Since then (2009) I enjoy the feeling of having friends at the other end of the world.
For having a good time, the "where" doesn´t really matter to me, it´s all about the people around me. Baking my own bread, looking for mushrooms in the woods and creating new cooking recipes are some of my favorites!
For now (and for four more years to come) I´m a med student in the wonderful town of Freiburg.

Cooking, reading, talking, making music! I like to have people around, hanging out on my own is usually not my cup of tea.
Meeting new people is one of the things I like most because it always gives you the chance of learning something new, getting a new perspective on something and rethinking your own view.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sunrise over the Stellenbosch Mountains, looking down from the Drakensberge - South Africa is a pretty amazing country!!
Walking to the harbour in a small Croatian town at sunrise to buy some fish from the fishermen when they come back, studying three Croatian sentences all night and coming home with no fish because not a single fisherman showed up...
