About Me

I am enthusiastic about meeting people with different characteristics and from different cultures. I like chatting, spending time out and laughing good. I love attending social activities like concerts, theater plays, parties or whatever I may find interesting.

Now I work as a translator and I guess this means I have the potential of being a good guide for the visitors:)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

The reason I am here is mainly meeting travellers and expats. I am usually available for showing you around, chattin about Turkish culture and replyin your questions about sociological stuff. I think I am capable of talking about or express my thoughts on almost everything. Being a translator for a long time, I am a little of anything. Various cultures and characteristics of people from everywhere in the world attract my attention. I haven't had the chance to go abroad yet, but thanks to my job and internet (god bless cultural exchange platforms), I met lots of people from different nations and I feel like I have been to every part of the world while I was just living here!

Socializing, watching tv series&documentaries, walking around with my dog, doing summer sports, biking, experimental cooking, reading magazines, checkin' bookshops. etc etc etc

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Actually I can't recall anything that amazing compared to some other couchsurfers experiences but as for me; I decided to move from my hometown Antalya to Istanbul in 2013 to enjoy this vibrant city which I have always been a fan of. And I did it and this was amazing for me;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I like meeting people having much experience in life, those who are not discriminative and can call themselves world citizens, who enjoy exploring. I like learning different personalities, different opinions and insights, different perspectives from them.
