ABOUT ME

We are a caring couple that have been in a committed relationship for over 3 years. Our ages are 28 and 26. We are both graduates of the University of Cincinnati, a premier, public, urban research university with over 42,000 students.

After a great deal of consideration, we decided to pursue an opportunity to fulfill one of our life’s ambitions. Over the next year we will be traveling throughout Southeast Asia. This has always been a goal of ours, but unfortunately the timing has never been right and we feared that if we didn't act now, we never would. This trip is in part for self discovery and personal growth, but it is also about meeting new people, getting to know other cultures first-hand, and bringing home a broader prospective of the world. While there, we will also be participating in a farming co-op (wwoof.org). Through this we hope to gain a greater understanding of local customs through direct participation in the daily life of the host community. In addition, we are very passionate about organic farming and sustainable living, so we are very excited to learn new agricultural techniques that we hope to be able to apply when we return home.

Our trip will take us to the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, China, South Korea and Hawai'i.
