About Me

I'm a mid career architect-planner from New Delhi, with a body of work in sustainable cities focused on public transit and ped-bike infrastructure. I am currently pursuing my second graduate degree at Cornell in upstate New York.

In another life I used to play the piano, baritone and euphonium. But Architecture killed that so now I only play the fool ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Love the Bangalore CS circuit where I was first introduced to it.
Host in Delhi. Lesser now thanks to perpetually being on work travel :(
Hope to pick it up again for my stint in Ithaca, NY

Have met amazing people and have done random stuff not on any tourist guide book which is the best way to see the world! Travel with CS whenever possible. There isn't a better way!

Travelling without a schedule
Urbanism (and urban sketching, although my rendering of the human form needs some work)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started a campaign to bridge borders between students of Architecture of the South Asian region as the President of the National Association of Students of Architecture. Still running successfully to date!

Slept under the stars in the middle of the Sahara after running down an 90 foot sand dune in 90 seconds... and then spent 90 minutes climbing back up - with no water :(

Ate a goat, stuffed with a chicken, that was in turn stuffed with eggs and rice... but with 15 other people :P
