I am, a work in progress, which cannot be described or explained or classified.
But I suppose that if somebody would describe me as a temperamental romantic hobbit would not be too far away from the truth.
Accept what you cannot change, change what you can, understand the difference.
Enjoy the present. It is the only thing you are.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started when it was a non-commercial organisation, and people believed in knowing each other more than in sleeping for free or in "the dating site which is not a dating site".
Now that CS has changed so much, I do not trust the new administration and I have serious privacy concerns, and I also see that the attitude of manzy new surfers is not as pure and social as it was once.
So I mostly am here only when I do not find people on BeWelcome.
Luckily there still are nice people around, here, and that's why I keep coming back.
I am interested in human nature, and in phylosophy and metaphysics.
I like to think that the fact that we cannot see or prove something, it does not mean that it does not exist. So I keep an open mind about spiritual subjects, to give myself the chance to experiment things and see what happens.
Previously I was an actor, you know, Hamlet and stuff like that.
Then I have tried to make electronic music and I still wish to do that. I will try again in the future. But it was not the right moment and I felt I needed to do something different, still creative, still with beauty, and helpful, so I have studied Gardening and Landscaping, in Germany, with the aim of becoming a Garden Designer.
I am vegetarian and I like to cook but I am too lazy to follow recipies. Luckily we Italians have the cooking in our DNA and I manage it without recipies. But I always look at those pictures in cooking books and I think "I should do that".

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Books: "Illusions" by Richard Bach, "The Foam of the Days" by Boris Vian.
I am not a hardcore reader but I am lately regaining the pleasure for it.
Favourite Films: Kung Fu Panda! Mr. Nobody. And Hero.
Then, there are so many... Mostly Movies where "impossible" things happen.
No Horror, few romantic comedies, no Crimies. No heavy drama.
I also enjoy some artistic videos like Ashes and Snow (you find some pictures from it, in my profile).
Music: nothing which contains violent emotions or high doses of stupidity.
Then many different things, some happy, some melancholic, some energetic.
If you really want some names:
Portishead, Robert Wyatt, Radiohead, Trip Hop, Electro Swing, Techno (specially German one), Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky, Espers, Dead Can Dance, well, I could go on and on. I have a lot of music...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stood up after falling. Many times.
Loving and being loved.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: gardening, cooking, postponing things as much as possible doing everything else but what you should do (I am a real master at it)
Learn: drawing, playing some instrument no matter which, permaculture, new ways of seeing things.
