ABOUT ME

hmm where to start, where to start.

well i dance, i sing, i play. ... Seriously, busking has been my insurance policy traveling much of the world. lol. umm I love ponies and rainbows and lying in fields of daisies :) that was a joke, but I really do. except rainbows. they're a bit overrated i feel. but I am an outdoorsy girl, when I'm not in NZ I work in Ohio (US) in outdoor recreation/education. I'm studied canine behavior and worked as a dog trainer. also dance latin american (bachata, meringue, Zouk, teach Salsa). ummm I used to tutor spanish, but am loosing it a bit now, unfortunately :(

okay, enough about the fact.

personality ways, I really try to live life to the fullest. I know that sounds sooo cliche it's almost painful, but I really do. I have NO intention of being caught up in the rate race. I dont' have a "career" in mind, and not sure if i ever will. So far, i've just persued what i love, and somehow found ways to make money at it. So i figure, that works :D
I LOVE my family and LOVE my friends. I love to travel..no travel isn't the word (that implies tourism)... I love to exPLORE the world :) and equally as much love to meet new ppl. and i know what a bee-aatch it can be when you wanna travel and see the REAL culture of the country. so skip the hostel and hit me up!

PHILOSOPHY

first do no harm. I am a vegan, conservation and welfare enthusiast. I believe that you should live your life to the fullest, put it out there to the universe and you will get what you want. Do ALL in your power to persue your passions and feel fulfilled in love and life....just don't F***k anyone or anyTHING else over in the process.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love showing ppl around my country. while I'm prob gonna have stuff going on, I am MORE than keen to show people around my home town. So defintiely hit me up for a place to crash, a real home cooked meal and an actual real shower. prob a bit of transport and info on what to do, too :)
I also love to travel, i'm home right now, but am always changing plans and off again , here and there. so love to couch surf, myself, too :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

only one experience so far, and it was great. i had no profile, no pic, and no money. it had been stollen at the bus terminal, and i threw out an email, and got a response from a ridiculously trusting guy in canada. crashed on his couch for 3 days. great experience :) super helpfull

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

music...depends on mood and season...but solo acoustic (john mayer, jack johnson, ben harper..), soft rock (coheed and cambria, matchbox 20, Hedley), some emo (chemical romance..can't think of anyting else lol). the only things I dont like are hard metal sh***t that you can't understand. and real rap. i love eminem, but have no interest in monotonous rap about grills, bitches, and hoes.

movies-cheap romance comedies, i'm not gonna lie. and good stuff too of course :)

books- about real stuff. Jodi Picoult- my sisters keeper (but just everything of hers is fantastic). books that make you think. Good philosophy, also.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

swum with humpback whales that came in to the cove to give birth. the babies wanted to play, and the mothers stared with their enormous eyes. SO huge. So graceful and gentle. they know exactly they are in the water, and came so close but wouldn't touch or hurt me. goes to show, size and strength isnt' everything.
