I was born in Russia, grew up in Kiev, Ukraine, studied in the university in St.Petersburg, Russia and then in New York. I have been living in the US for the past 24 years.

I am calm and laid back, a bit lazy at times :) I enjoy good company and a meaningful conversation. I am new to Couchsurfing, but I have hosted people and c-surfed before, just not thru this site.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet fellow travelers and interesting people, and maybe make new friends. I like the idea of couchsurfing and believe in the 'pay it forward' approach.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in Grand Canyon was one of the most memorable things in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak English, Russian, and Ukrainian and want to learn some Spanish :) Also, I am interested in learning about other cultures and seeing how people live in other countries. I will be glad to tell you about the countries where I lived and visited.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I usually can pick you up by car anywhere in the 10 mile zone around my place.

I can show you around and take you to the beach (30 min by car) if I am free. I work different shifts and sometimes have errands to do on weekends.
I will do my best to make you feel comfortable when I am free, but I cannot guarantee my availability all the time.
