About Me

Hi my name is Seth Yow and I live in Bowling Green, Kentucky. I was raised in Birmingham, Alabama and went to college at Florida College in Tampa, Florida and Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. I'm a pretty simple country boy that likes to learn about other cultures. I also played and continue to love American Football, but enjoy just about every sport there is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have only left the country once in 2015 to work in Toronto, Canada and since then I have wanted to see the world more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I hate to be that guy but I enjoy all types of music. I have been to hardcore metal, classic rock and roll, rap, country, techno, bluegrass, classical, and Celtic concerts. I love foreign music and often listen to Japanese, Gaelic, Arabic(nasheeds).

Huge film buff. Love Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson, Clint Eastwood and anything with Denzel Washington, Brad Pitt, or Daniel Day Lewis in it. Sadly I haven't seen many foreign films outside of some exposure to the UK, BBC, and everything by Guy Ritchie,

I enjoy any type of book, but I am far more inclined towards wisdom literature, business books, and general non-fiction instructionals than most works of fiction and fantasy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Boy I don't know. I've visited about 30 U.S. states so I know a whole lot about American traditions and people from around the nation.

Teach, Learn, Share

It is far better to live like you are never going to die, than to die never having really lived.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully just some Southern ways and hospitality since many people from the South never tend to leave it. I don't mind hard manual labor and always down for getting into anything new. All y'all can also laugh at my thick accent because according to Canadians it is something awful haha.
