About Me

My mission is to travel as much as possible. I have just finished backpacking, wwoofing, and driving around America and I am now living in beautiful, sunny San Diego!

I am an avid traveler, explorer, and student. I have been to many different places and hope to see as much as I can. I love art in general but mostly I am a photographer. I love to hike and explore the outdoors as I have been recently backpacking and WWOOFing, and driving across america. I am now living at the beach in beautiful Ocean Beach, California (San Diego).

€œThere is a story of a woman running away from tigers. She runs and runs, and the tigers are getting closer and closer. When she comes to the edge of a cliff, she sees some vines there, so she climbs down and holds on to the vines. Looking down, she sees that there are tigers below her as well. She then notices that a mouse is gnawing away at the vine to which she is clinging. She also sees a beautiful little bunch of strawberries close to her, growing out of a clump of grass. She looks up and she looks down. She looks at the mouse. Then she just takes a strawberry, puts it in her mouth, and enjoys it thoroughly.Tigers above, tigers below. This is actually the predicament that we are always in, in terms of our birth and death. Each moment is just what it is. It might be the only moment of our life, it might be the only strawberry we'€™ll ever eat. We could get depressed about it, or we could finally appreciate it and delight in the preciousness of every single moment of our life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have couchsurfed up and down the eastern and western coasts of America. Now that I live in San Diego I hope to start being able to host travelers too!

Travel, WWOOFing (organic farming), backpacking, hiking, adventure seeking, skiing/snowboarding, other languages and cultures, and generally living a fun and amazing life!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies and have seen far far far too many to list here. My literature repertoire isn't quite as expansive but I read a good book here and there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen many many amazing things that have left me awestruck. I've swam with sharks, dolphins, non stinging jellyfish. I've lived in the Galapagos islands, skydived in hawaii, gone scuba diving and surfing in hawaii. I've recently backpacked the country while organically farming. I spent a year traveling, studying and working in Europe. And this is all really just the last few years of my life...
