Hello, guys from all over the world!
I'm Shine Oh, and I'm staying in Madrid to study spanish.
First, I met Spain in 2014 and fell in love with it.
Next year 2015, I decided to come to Madrid again, so I applied for exchange student from my university.
After finishing my semester in Madrid, I also decided to come back here and study more! So now in 2016, I'm still in Madrid.

I'm totally korean. My first language is korean but I speak english too. I took every course in english last semester in Madrid.

The reason why I'm into spain and spanish is that I love its passion! Because I'm really enthusiastic person, I'm attracted to similar things. I won't stop studying it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because my interest is not only staying in different cities in the world, but also meeting the local people, communicating with them, and watching their REAL life.
I also want to share my "Asiantic" life style or ideas. I hope we can share a lot through this experience ^^!

Interests

My interests are, as you see in my majors, philosophy and business management.

First, I love philosophy because it makes me keep thinking. I always think about myself, society, and the whole world. My goal is to find a perfect ideology that makes the world happy. I find a lot of unequality, poverty and tears from all over the world. I want to fix them, encourage them and make them happier than now.

Second, because the main ideology is now capitalism, if I want to make a change in the world, I thought that I must have a power of capitals. If I want to change a rule, of course I have to be a master of the rule, don't I? :) So I decided to study 'money' and I'll try to make it possible, via success in capitalism.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Muse and Foo fighters! I love rock bands. But nowadays I'm into spanish songs XD I like Joey montana. Also I love the song 'el mismo sol' though it's not of joey.

I love twilight series... It may seem childish, I won't change my favor. XD

I LOVE reading books, especially philosophers' one. I love to make a discussion on them. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I visited Venice, Italy, My little sister suddenly was drowned in the middle of the river. But we were in unfamous area, so there was no one to help us. After helping her to get out of water, I found that she was bleeding on her leg! She couldn't walk, nor stand. I was panic. Imagine, your little sister being drowned and bleeding now! It was sunday, so no open pharmacy or hospital. I just rushed into a cafe and shouted ( I don't remember how I could make a conversation not knowing any word of Italian). Soon a man came out and did a rescue and simple remedy. Thanks to him, we could go back to our hostel.

If it's the end of the story, it's not amazing thing!
When we arrived our hostel, there were our all baggages in the robby! My clothes, toothbrush, innerwear, passports were all out there. I was shocked again. There was no one in the reception. After calling them, I heard that we were expelled because of the error of their system! Anyway we had to go out because there was no room for us. I really hated my life, but we had to find another room. So I made my sister sit in the robby, and got out to find another hostel running all the city. After 2 hours, fortunately I could find a hotel(it was terribly expensive but I didn't have a choice) and we could take a rest. A memory of that day and Venice is a day&city of panic for me.
