My mission is to meet all kinds of interesting, down to earth people that will have a laugh with me over wine, cheese and crackers!

ABOUT ME

I was a seasonal worker in Australia making my way up and down the East Coast and now I've decided to do it overseas as I love meeting new people and having memorable experiences. I consider myself to be outgoing, relaxed and easy to talk to.

This was said by Janis Joplin and I think it can be used in every situation in order to make ourselves better people because it's so simple and true.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am blown away with how well couch surfering works all over the world and how many nice people there are out there who are willing to make the time with strangers who are just like them. I would like to be a part of this great movement and do my part in helping others and myself have great travel experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All my housemates are couch surfer members and we have people from everywhere stay at our place. I have met some of the most interesting people in this experience and would like to continue meeting more great individuals.

I enjoy getting outdoors and going for a swim at the beach, bushwalking in the mountains or snowboarding. I also like exploring art galleries, reading fantastic books which are usually memoirs or autobiographies and I have a quirky little interest in knitting as well!

Fav movies of all time are Dazed & Confused, Empire Records, Reality Bites & Into the Wild. Funny enough, they all have killer soundtracks as well!
My fav books would have to be Tomorrow When the War Began Series by John Marsden (great Australian writer).
Although every true story I've read such as Desert Flower, Shantaram, Scartissue, The Judith Lucy Alphabet & a Bit of Blur, have really been stuck in my mind ever since. I have a great book collection as I refuse to throw away anything as I believe they will all keep me company when I'm old!
I enjoy all types of music including Ash Grunwald, The Grates, Florence & the Machine, Gomez, Fleet Foxes and just about anything that can accomodate my mood at the time.
