I am a recent engineering graduate from Philadelphia that recently moved to Brooklyn to start work. I did a some backpacking around Europe between the gap, and had wonderful experiences couch surfing.
Now I'm looking to pay it forward with some people that I think I'd get along with.

Books: Bill Bryson and Jon Krakauer are the greatest.
