I'm a smiley, passionate, loyal, genuinely caring and thoughtful person. I love to laugh and spend time with my friends and family whom I care about very much. I look at the world with wonder and am always searching for the meaning and purpose in things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS bc I plan to go travelling and I thought this service sounded like a good idea. Its aim seems to be about putting positive energy back into the universe and I like that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few couchsurfers now and it's been great. I have only had one experience of being a couchsurfer so far but I'm hoping to add to that tally

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not much of a reader. I like seeing the ocasional flick or two. I really enjoy live theatre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've travelled a bit of Western Europe in my late teens (about 10years ago). I did a short 3 week trip to India 5 years ago. Have travelled to Thailand a couple of times. Last year (2010) I went on a 3 month world odyssey tour that went to America, Iceland, Western Europe, Morocco, Turkey and Egypt.

Teach, Learn, Share

In my day job I teach Art, Photography and Drama. I'm also quite savvy with the sewing machine and have skills in fashion design. I love to engage in animated discussions about all sorts of topics. I love to learn but being as I'm not such a fan of reading, I tend to rely on learning things through experience and discussion with others.
