I love exploring beautiful new places on my time off, which I am lucky to have quite a bit of as a teacher. I was born in the north but currently live in Houston, TX.

Interests

Normally I'm traveling with an outdoor destination in mind like hiking, paddling, skiing, etc. Iggy, my chow-retriever, is my travel buddy and I bring him along as often as I can. I also enjoy gardening and playing music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies nearly always put me to sleep, but I love all kinds of music. I am still a hardcore OAR fan! I don't read as often as I'd like but I'm currently enjoying "And the Mountains Echoed."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kayaked the Rio Grande through beautiful canyons and paddled alongside a wild horse... So amazing!
