About Me

To live with grace and appreciate the world around me

I grew up in Mumbai and have lived in Canada, Greece and the U.S. over the past seven years. I currently live in Brooklyn where I work with a small non-profit and write. I spend the rest of my time exploring New York City, enjoying the diversity of New York's cuisines and Yoga classes and museums. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures-- when I was sixteen, I moved to Victoria, British Columbia, to attend an international high school for students from more than 90 different countries. Living with people from all over the world broadened my perspective and increased my enthusiasm to travel and live in different places.

I try to live with grace, live well, and be aware that my actions can and do have a significant impact on other human beings. I am not afraid to dream and follow my dreams: my life will be best lived if I do what I enjoy, not what others are telling me I should do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't used couchsurfing much yet, but I look forward to meeting new people through couchsurfing while I travel around Greece this August.
