Overview
About Me
I am 56 and changing my life by moving to take a CELTA course in Bangkok in April and May 2016. This will give me the qualification to teach in a Thai University. Before this, I have been an accountant most of my life. A few years ago I lost "half my size" and now write and film to promote my healthy weight loss message.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hope to find a place to stay my first nights in Bangkok. I would love to find a friend, have some help to find a permanent spot and have someone to practice my Thai with. I am learning from nothing and really want to be able to understand the Thai people and culture. I would also be glad to find another expat friend. I'm open to a good situation to start my time in Bangkok right.
Interests
I am interested in healthy living, photography, teaching, swimming and pretty much any new experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all Classic Rock, Tokio Hotel, Depeche Mode. I do not watch many movies but I have seen all the Star Wars in theaters since they first started in 1977(!) I write books now so I don't read too many. I do a lot of internet research, so that is my reading. I love looking at celebrities, fashion and luxurious items just to dream :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved to California by myself with my baby and $3000. It worked out. He's 23 now.
Teach, Learn, Share
I will gladly trade my English help for your Thai help. I am very eager to learn Thai. I have good social media knowledge and will look at your websites if you want to make them more "English Speaking" friendly. I can tutor in Business, Accounting, Writing, Amazon publishing and many other topics based on my education and experience.
