About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Conquering fears, one small step at a time.

ABOUT ME

I went from an overweight couch potato (had always been fat a big part of my life) to a marathon finisher (despite taking almost 8 hours to complete it). Now that I've shed almost 20kilos off me, I'm really big on outdoors and healthy living.

PHILOSOPHY

My mission statement:
To do my very best in everything that I do;
To live a life of passion and love;
To hep others grow and to discover their highest potential;
To help the underprivileged and to contribute as much as I can to the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting people from all over the world, sharing my culture with other travellers and helping them to assimilate into the local culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new at this so I haven't had any Couchsurfing experience!

Interests

Hiking/trekking, outdoor adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - not that much of a movie person but if I have to choose a movie genre, give me comedy anytime. ;)

Music - I'm into Mandopop though I've probably lost touch already.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing a green turtle in the coast of Malaysia.
Completing a full marathon (42km) in 8 hours (ran half of it and walked (& limped) the rest).
Decided that I needed to stop being overweight and unhealthy. Lost 20kg months later.

Teach, Learn, Share

To non-Chinese/Mandarin speakers, I can be the best person you go to for learning Chinese! I've had experience with tutoring so I'm more than willing to share my knowledge with you!

I would also like to look for Spanish-speaking people! I started learning a bit of Spanish but there's noone to practice with so I'd really appreciate if there's an opportunity.

I'm a runner as well so if you're into running, we can always look for a place to run! :D
