I am fortunate enough to have moved to this lovely slightly quirky village, in the most beautiful part of the best county in England (in my view of course). My son and I have been here since early 2015 when he was coming up to 6. I am a self-employed osteopath working mainly from home and of course a full time mum. Before this latest radical change of career I had lots of smaller career changes. I have work in European policy in Brussels, community engagement with Sothwark council and education, volunteer management and international development with VSO. I have lived in and around London, in France, Brussels and Indonesia. I enjoy life, now more than ever and both my son and I love sharing this great place we have found.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love where I live and my slightly messy home and both my son and I love to share it. I also love travelling, near and far, and would like to do more of it again with my son.

Interests

I'm interested in most things and most people really. One thing I love more than travelling is getting to know a place. I love the sea...and bodies of water in general I suppose. I used to do lot of scuba diving and hope to do so again soon. I'm passionate about health and wellbeing and feel privileged to be in a position to help other people and the community improve theirs in a more concrete way now. I love yoga, camping, being with friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed up Mount Merapi - reputedly the most active volcano in the world. My son cannot understand why anyone would go near a volcano. I'm not sure either.

Not sure what this bit's about? I have taught people English, helped people improve their health....love learning languages, pretty much any new skill. I'm not formerly learning anything at the moment but have probably been at school or on some kind of course for most of my life.
