ABOUT ME

I am a free spirit that loves to travel, learn, and meet new people. Any new experience, person, place, etc. I'm open minded to and willing to take in. I am also very goal oriented for balance. I hope to cultivate myself mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually in this life deriving positive purpose from each day, but most importantly enjoying the journey!

PHILOSOPHY

Just like I said before my mission is to enjoy the journey and I do that by trusting the process of life. Everything happens for a reason even if we don't connect it until looking back. I strive for harmony in my beliefs, thoughts, words and actions. My philosophy is one of well-roundedness through synergy every changing/growing but striving for balance in mind, heart, body and soul.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not through this site specifically but I've done extensive couch surfing. For a week in LA California I lived in my car and stayed at a different house every night with friends friends to new friends. From Beverly Hills to Venice.
Also for 12 days in New Zealand we took a road trip up the West Coast, with four other traveling enthusiasts from around the country, lived in our car and pitched a tent on the side of the road where we could, or stayed in hostels ending in an apartment with friends we met.
Also with a group of ten we took a road trip to Denver, Colorado and ended up staying with the roommates of one of my friends high school friends who didn't happen to be there. There group of four and our group ended up meeting and there were 14 less strangers in the world!

Conversation is always intriguing to me whether it is swapping life experience, sharing life lessons of perspective, challenging preconceived notions or contemplating life mysteries. Religion and politics though warned against are some of my favorite topics to discuss. My hobbies include hiking, camping, writing, reading, dancing, partying, self-development and music.

Movies I will give anything a shot. Some of my favorites are Timer, Get him to the Greek, Book of Eli, Titanic, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Island, My Sisters Keeper, Crazy Stupid Love, etc.
Music I am the same and find benefits from each genre in different context. My favorite however is a more Indie style or Dupstep depending on the occasion. I love Mumford and Sons, Dashboard Confessional, City and Colour, Kalai, Pretty Lights, Bon Iver, Lindsey Stirling, David Guetta, Angels and Airwaves, etc.
Books I enjoy non-fiction mostly. I love self development books like stumbling on happiness, the way of the peaceful warrior. Fiction books I've loved are Of Mice and Men, The Giver, Hunger Games, etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Some of my most memorable moments are when I bungi jumped for the first time, took a helicopter ride around Mount Rushmore, and swam with the dolphins in Cozumel. I love to embrace new experiances so there are many more than this but I would say these are a few of the most monumental.
While I lived in New Zealand I got to bungi jump 140 feet off the oldest bungi jump in the world. One of the most terrifying and exhilarating moments of my life. As well the whole time I was there is full of stories and memories.
On a road trip summer of my senior year I traveled to 8 states in 5 days driving over 3,000 miles with three of my best friends. We also experienced a variety of other thing along the way but we got the opportunity to take a helicopter around the mountain. This was an incredible trip and I'm grateful to have had the experience.
Lastly was my trip to Mexico. I got the opportunity to go for a family reunion so thirty of us went together. I was 14 and got to swim with one of my favorite animals. Despite the touristy feel of this moment, it was something I never thought I would have the chance to do.

Teach: I know a lot about motivation, team dynamics, personality, visualization, law of attraction etc. I also know American Sign Language.
Learn: I would love to learn more about philosophy, and religion. Basically I'm willing to learn anything someone wants to teach.
