About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A society based on cooperation without the violence so prevalent today, that and some damn good snowboarding

ABOUT ME

I'm a philosophy and history major at UW-Madison. I like talking about philosophy, animal rights, radical politics etc. I'm a vegan and straightedge, though i don't care so much if other do drugs or drink. I love to snowboard (Powder is GNAR) and ride my fixed gear bike as well as play some video games.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to try to make a better world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well so far, i'v done nothing. i really only have a dorm room so i can't host and i will be in school so i doubt i will surf until next summer, but i do talk this idea up whenever the subject arises, i love the idea of sharing and cooperation, the trust in each other, and if you look closely, in humanity that it represents, and i hope to participate in making this venture successful.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never done it, but i think it sounds amazing.

Interests

History, Philosophy, Politics. Animal Rights. Snowboarding. Computer Video Games (RPG/RTS). Music, Punk Rock, Hardcore, Hip Hop, preferably with a political message.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Propagandhi, Promoe, Dead Prez, Looptroop Rockers, The Number 12 Looks Like You, AJJ, Strike Anywhere, Set Your GoalsMovies: Earthlings, Monty Python, Into the Wild (like everyone else on here)Books: Bob Torres, Chomsky, Gary Francione, Zinn, most anarchist lit. 18th 19th and early 20th century classics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snowboarding every time my board hits that hill. I also think riding my fixed gear bike in chicago with three of my best friends was amazing. That might be just boring to others though.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help make some vegan food! I want to learn about ideas and bike maintenance.
