ABOUT ME

Well, I am a very quiet, kind, but fun-loving individual. I absolutely LOVE animals and children and am happiest when I'm around them. I appreciate all kinds of music and individual beliefs (I'm also a pescatarian - a form of vegetarianism that eats seafood - but plan to cut that out of my diet fairly soon as well). I believe there's more good in the world than bad as I'm quite optimistic. I want to learn new things; about myself, and the world. I believe life is meant to be lived to the fullest degree and happiness is something you must make for yourself.

PHILOSOPHY

I'd say my philosophy on life is that we choose who and what we are. I believe like attracts like. Positive energy sent out into the world brings positive things into your own life, and vice-versa. I think we choose to be happy/angry. It really is simple to go from a negative emotion to a positive, you just have to let yourself try.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Wes Anderson movies, cute thoughtful movies like Amelie, I even have a bit of an obsession with the Rambo trilogy though you'd never guess it. As for music, I love ALL kinds. I grew up with classic rock, jazz, bluegrass, oldies, and rockabilly so I've developed an appreciation for all kinds. Though I must say my favorite is indie. For books, I appreciate those that make me think. I love Lord of the Flies, A Separate Peace, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Edgar Allen Poe, and also the Anne of Green Gables collection, to name a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was once bitten by a sea turtle. Although it wasn't really amazing, just more bizarre.. It didn't hurt at all, it was more of a friendly reminder saying "Hey I'm right behind you, don't step on me" (I was walking backwards in the ocean).
