About Me

To travel before I hit 30!

I am new to travelling but it is something I have always wanted to do. I love meeting new people, trying different foods and embracing lifes adventures. My favourite saying is "It is better to live one day as a tiger, than 1,000 years as a sheep".
Im a pretty laidback person who is not adverse to change, I tend to "go with the flow" where my life is concerned. I take oppurtunities as they arise and so far I consider myself to have been a very lucky person in life!
I have spent years getting and education and figuring out what I wanted to do (as in work) and as I moved out of home at 16 I have not had the funds to go travelling. Now, I am finished with education, am about to start a career in mental health nursing and have a great oppurtunity to travel, starting with Europe (its on my doorstep so why not!). I have been to Australia in 2007 as part of my nursing, I went there to work for 9 weeks (and had some fun too!), but Europe is a chance for me to experience travelling from a backpackers perspective.

Live life to the full, its far too short to do anything else but.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I am new to CS, I do not yet participate, however, as I gain experiences and friends it is something I will look into further.

None as yet, but hopefully this will be updated soon.

Tarantino films, books include "The time travellers wife" and "the boy in the striped pajamas" amongst others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have done is jump solo from 3,500 ft from an aeroplane in Australia...unforgettable, amazing, fantastic experience, Id recommend it to anyone (with the balls to do it...)

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about different cultures, religions and foods! In return, I can counsel you over any mental health difficulties you may be experiencing...!
