I currently am living in an RV so unable to accept guests. I was raised on an Iowa farm, but am now living retirement dream.

I eat a plant based diet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We hosted our first CouchSurfing guests recently and thoroughly enjoyed it -- and stayed with our first host in May 2015 -- in Alaska. A great experience.

Interests

I like kayaking, canoeing and hiking. Also spending the nights tent or RV camping in the mountains, deserts and prairies of the United States.

Foreign films especially. Music would have to be the blues!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm . . . so much. Perhaps hiking through the jungle on the way to Machu Pichu in the dark with only the light from our group's headlamps showing the way;

Walking on the spongy, floating Uros Islands in Lake Titicaca in Peru

or
Being cleansed by a shaman in Ecuador.
