I am a university student in Hong Kong. I grew up in Mainland China. This summer, I got a previous chance to be an exchange student in Germany. And I have around a month's time to travel in Europe after I finish my study.

I am interested in food, culture, stories, religion (although I don't have), but not politics. And I like pets and own a dog back home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Now this is my first time in Europe and I am traveling alone. I hope to meet some local people and really see how their life is like here. I would also like to hear their stories and the people the met and share mine as well.

I also think I am kind of experiencing the "Identity Crisis" period in my life. Sometimes I feel so confused about the future. That's also one of the reasons I need to travel. Caz I want to figure out what kind of life I really want. Maybe I can get some inspiration through sharing and communication with different people I meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not a big fun of music and mainly listen to Chinese songs for relaxing. I like May (五月天) and Tank a lot.

It's hard to say which movie is my favorite, caz there are many. Maybe the Ice Age? or Before Dawn? And I like documentaries very much, which I think are definitely more informative and realistic than movies.

Favorite book, emmm, also hard to say. maybe Harry Potter? But for the taste of reading, I also prefer biographies than novels.

By the way, I like paintings a lot although I can't paint. The art galleries are my must-go places in each city I travel to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have cloned and expressed an animal protein into a plant. But that's a simple thing if you work in this area, hah.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook some Chinese cuisines, just in the simple home-made style.
Also I can play Ping-Pong well, which is typical for Chinese.
