About Me

I'm a recent college graduate that's looking to see the world a bit before I begin work in animation. I was raised by my grandmother and am probably a bit old-fashioned, but I'm great with people because of it at least.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to immerse myself in the cultures beyond past the tourist sights. I have stayed in France for two months and being able to surround myself with people who actually made their home where I was staying was such a valuable experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to more obscure artists, so I'm not too sure about their names myself, but I think I'm pretty open to all sorts of music though I have a preference against heavy metal. I like the Civil Wars band. I love romantic comedies like Leap Year and the Proposal, almost all Marvel movies and definitely love cartoons. Tangled is my favorite movie. I read mostly fiction, but I do admit to loving historical romance novels (smut as my aunt calls them).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have painted a portrait for the Dean of UC Berkeley, which is now public and on his public portfolio.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always willing to share whatever knowledge of art I can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My granny handed down several amazing recipes that I would love to share. Otherwise, my art is my trade and I am always willing to share that.
