Hi My name is Shota.
i have just started working as a service-designer from this April and living by myself in Futakoshinchi where really closes to Tokyo. It takes just 20 min to get to Shibuya st. from my flat.
You take one train from the airport directly to Shibuya or Futakotamagawa and then one more train for less than 20 min. The flat is a 5min walk from the station. I work standard office hours 9am - 5:30 pm and I enjoy having guests stay over to experience Tokyo and if you want to visit Kanagawa area i can support you because I had spend my life for almost 20 years at Shonan(湘南)area. I can provide just a place to sleep and sometimes adjust my schedule so that I can do some exploring with you as well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually I have started as a host. One of my friend who always use this service in the both way to host and to be hosted. When I talked about my flat has an extra room, she told me if I would start hosting.

WHY I STARTED HOSTING

I am not shamed of speaking English and willing to have time with people from oversea. Once i supported a guide who conducted tours for American. I enjoyed a lot on that duty and furthermore we hanged out after my duty. i am experience how much joyful I helped them and had a great time with them. At that time, I really wanted to be a host or accept home-stay students but I couldn't for the some reason at my home town.

It was the time I started working and moved then I have so many chances to work with people from oversea. It remains my hope as I mentioned above. Recently you know there are a lot of services we can be host or be hosted and have special experiences easier than I though.
So that is why I jumped into Couch Surfing!!
