Living the dream.
I recently moved to DC to work as a pharmacist. I love going to shows, trying new restaurants, walking to work, and geeking out at museums.
I tend to have good days and better days, which I am very thankful for. I am a down-to-earth optimist who tries to make the best of any situation. I operate by my own moral code that tends to place a lot of importance on doing things for others, especially for friends and family. Speaking of family, I am very close to mine and talk to them just about every day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm hoping to travel some on my weekends off, and meet new people who want to see the city!
I couchsurfed in eastern NC when I was on pharmacy rotations, and it helped me a ton. I'm looking forward to hosting.
Going to concerts, walking and biking, visiting cities, spending time at the beach, road trips, dinner parties, brewery and winery tours.

Music, Movies, and Books
I go to a lot of shows. My favorite bands are probably I Was Totally Destroying It, Jack's Mannequin, Motion City Soundtrack, The Connells, New Order, blink-182, Guster, and Something Corporate. I love documentaries but don't see enough of them. I read so many magazines and journals that I don't have much time for books, but I love pop psychology and techno-thrillers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently went on a 2,000-mile road trip with my mom. From Raleigh, we visited Charleston, Savannah, Pensacola, New Orleans, Atlanta, and the BMW plant in Spartanburg. So glad I got to do it.
