About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To create a solo trip around the world, or to one place, or to several for an undetermined future time.

ABOUT ME

After learning that 9-5 schedules and cubicles weren't in my future, I took to outdoor education and frequenting my local library. I'm a beginner gardener, I'd like to sky dive someday and I wish desperately that space travel would be a reality in my lifetime. I'm an introvert and not a partier, thus more extroverted types might find me dull. I won't drink you under the table but I will play freeze tag and glow-in-the-dark whiffle ball.

PHILOSOPHY

I used to be great at this section, but I'll let Oscar Wilde speak for me: "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only just begun using CS, but someday I hope to surf through many a foreign land and perhaps allow others to surf into my abode.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept on the couch at family get-togethers :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer live music jams made up of fun instruments, so folksie and acoustic songs. I like historical fiction for my reading pleasure, or just non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled by ski for a week and a half through the mountains of Wyoming in winter, building snow shelters to live in. Hardest physical experience of my life thus far.

Teach, Learn, Share

Snow is great toilet paper, if a bit cold.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
