About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Nomadism! Post-job traveling before school. Soul searching, you know.

ABOUT ME

I'm super unpredictable, tend to dabble lots - in forms of literature, music, art. Love adventures, exploring, wandering, and thinking. I'm going back to school for Communication Design in the Fall!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short; experience anything and everything you can while you can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have roommates who I don't know too well yet so I cannot force them into allowing couch surfers in our oh-so-visited NYC. I, however, love traveling, meeting new people and adventures! So I am a couch surfer, perhaps a to-be host (I have hosted before in my old apartment!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A friend of a friend couch surfed Valentines Day weekend in NYC. We dragged her to dinner, out partying with other like-minded single people, and all around the city. So much fun!

Interests

So many things! Hip hop, music, art, literature, magazine hoarding, vintage shopping, flea markets, Craigslist, thai food, coffee, museums, rafting, camping ...

Music, Movies, and Books

Book: I definitely prefer literary nonfiction to anything really, so I read mostly memoirs: A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, Running with Scissors, The Glass Castle.

Movies: Admittedly a huge fan of musicals no matter how bad as long as they feature sing/dance numbers. Judd Apatow movies. Almost anything set in Paris.

Music: Ah varies depending on the day. Yesterday I was listening to a ton of g-funk, today Rachael Yamagata, the other day the Rent soundtrack. My favorite genres are funk-hip-hop fusion, soul, jazz, acoustic, some rock here and there.
