About Me

Hi! I'm a native Japanese speaker currently preparing for my working holiday in Finland starting this August. I'm super excited to explore a new culture, meet people from around the world, and create unforgettable memories.

I'm still learning English, so my conversation level is basic to intermediate — but I'm always trying to improve, and I really enjoy talking with people, even if I make mistakes. If you're patient, I'd love to chat and learn from you too!

I love sports, traveling, and movies. Whether it's hiking in nature, kicking a ball around, or watching a good film, I'm all in! I'm open-minded, curious, and really hoping to make lots of new friends during my time abroad.

Looking forward to connecting with warm, kind people through Couchsurfing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I’ve done was joining a volunteer project in Laos during university. I spent time with local children, supported community activities, and experienced a lifestyle completely different from my own — it really opened my mind and heart.

After that, I traveled around Southeast Asia and fell in love with the food, the people, and the mix of cultures. Those journeys gave me a lot of unforgettable memories and made me want to connect with even more people from around the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to share Japanese culture, especially around sports and education. I have a teaching license for physical education in Japanese junior high and high schools, and I practiced judo for many years — so I’d be happy to teach you some basic moves or just talk about the philosophy and culture behind it.

I also used to help coach elementary school kids in basketball when I was a university student, so I'm always happy to play or talk sports!

I'm always open to learning about other cultures, trying new foods, and hearing people’s stories. If you’re interested in Japan or want to learn some simple Japanese, I’d love to share that too!
