I was born into a family where my parents were very fond of traveling. We stayed in quaint places upcountry in the eastern side of India where my Dad's frequent work related travels helped us explore most of the known tourist destinations of Eastern India including Darjeeling, Shillong, Guwahati, Thimpu in Bhutan, Kalimpong among others.
As we grew up we travelled across the country as my father got posted to newer places. So we have stayed at all sorts of places right from the plains near Ganges, Brahmaputra to the Hills of the North East and the beaches on the Western Coast of India. I'm not married but I might. My priority are my parents and I stay with them. We are a liberal family comfortable with people from all walks of life. We can afford to host or accept two guests at our home in Delhi provided they are willing to share the bed. The room comes with an AC and an adjoining bathroom. There is a large balcony overlooking the main road of the Central District of New Delhi.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to travel to newer places and take my parents on holidays. We would like to meet new people and share our experiences with them. Both my parents are well educated from premier colleges of the country. They are accomodative and helpful. More when we meet or exchange messages. We'd only allow people in our house who are have the proper documentation in terms of Passport and / or Aadhaar Card and / or Driving License and / or Voter's ID card (Valid Photo Address Proof). We shall be doing our own due dilligence and verification before we accept guests in our house. We might require copies of the documents through E-Mail before we accept.

I will entertain a guest from Couch Surfing only on a QUID PRO QUO basis. If I share my guest room with a person then I expect the person or the guest to share his own room or house with me as well. There should be something that the Guest should share with me. Also, we would require the guest to go through a verification process before we commit to share our Guest Room with him or her.

Interests

I like to listen to music, sing, read and work when I get the time. Love spending time with my parents. I like to watch movies in my spare time. I have an awesome collection of songs, albums from some of the greatest musicians this millennium has seen. My father shares my love for music. My mother sings too. She was a school teacher.

Music, Movies, and Books

If it is melodius and has a rythm to it then I'd like it. My interest in music spans from Hindi Classical to Yesteryear's, English Rock, Pop, Reggae, Contemporary, Hip Hop and anything that makes sense. I don't like Heavy Metal & Grundge. Don't do drugs and neither do I entertain people who do it. I don't detest such people but I hope and pray that good sense prevails and no harm comes to them coz doing drugs never pays.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have sung to huge audiences but more than the adulation I liked the fact that the audience liked my singing and enjoyed it. I've made some amazing friends during my stays at different places and I hope that contnues.

I cook in my spare time and I could teach you a few Classical Indian Dishes. I could also consult you on business if required coz I have a fair deal of experience in the Corporate Sector.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my spare room with Hosts, I could let them drive my car provided they have a Valid Driving License and proper documentation. We would not be able to provide meals or food coz we'd be busy preparing our own and I would not like to bother my mother too much at her age. Food can be ordered from a variety of Restaurants around my house in Delhi and cuisines can include Chinese, Continental, Indian, Mughlai from Karim's, Zaika or Fast Food from McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Domino's, Cafe Coffee Day.
