ABOUT ME

I am a designer, traveller, and a travel blogger (http://www.sid-thewanderer.com/ and https://www.instagram.com/siddharthajoshi/) who loves people more than everything else. I derive my passion by interacting with the people and learning more about them and their cultures through stories - I consider myself a curator of stories :) I am also extremely passionate about inspiring the world around me to travel more, as I truly believes that only travelling can break barriers and make us more tolerant of our differences. I hope sometime in my lifetime, I could throw my passport in a bin and travel freely across the world :)

I am very friendly and can usually connect easily with most strangers...somehow I always find people most interesting and maybe that's why travels to new places has so much value to me.

I always make friends wherever I go, and make an effort to keep up with them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed about six times and I absolutely love the whole concept. I am just amazed why the whole world isn't already doing this...its one way to connect with people, especially as societies are getting so fragmented...

I am in India now and ready to host visitors here :)

Oh yes, all of it and tons of it. I love books, and always have one in my bag (well now a kindle often)...for me its the easiest way to connect to people!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I was in a small town called 'Tawang' on the Eastern India-Border, and spent the new year's eve alone with the locals and in a quaint Buddhist Monastery...it was quite an experience! For a few moments, I remember having no thoughts at all...felt like bliss.

I can cook Indian food, share tales of my adventure, make their pictures (I shoot professionally) and sing some (bad) Bollywood songs :)
