Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being an introvert, I have always had limited interaction with people. Talking to strangers was something I always feared. But my whole perspective changed a few years back when circumstances forced me to travel through southern India all by myself. I stayed with strangers all the way and surprisingly had the best time of my life. Since then there has been no looking back. I have been taking trips
to places I have never been to and meeting new people gets me more excited than the lust of seeing a new place. I can't find a better platform than couchsurfing to connect with the unknown or else I would have been there.

Interests

As I had mentioned earlier, I am very flexible. So my interests keeps on changing from time to time. But a good soccer game or debating on a social issue would make me excited any day.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music changes from time to time but nothing can take the place of DEMONS and PARADISE from my life.

As for movies and books there are many I like from varied genres. But my favorite book is "The catcher in the Rye" by JD Salinger.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't have much achievements in life so to speak. But yeah, there was this one experience when I was traveling in Himachal Pradesh which I like to brag about. I did the the DRILBU KORA trek in Keylong all alone by myself beating my own self confidence, energy and fear. It was my first high altitude trek and I passed with flying colors.

I don't know what I can teach but I can definitely give an insight to my culture and my life in Odisha.
