My husband Ewan and I are sociable, kind-hearted people. Exchanging services in these - for some of us - financially difficult times has become a fun community thing, and we love it. We both like to share, laugh and live life to the fullest of our possibilities. Ewan hosts an online radio show every Tuesday night (Into The Night - with Ewan Siret www.flashfmoxford.co.uk) from 8 to 10pm, and his heart and soul is in it. My passion is helping people getting where they want to be, and I take my dog wherever I possibly can. I coach people, facilitate self-healing workshops and host Red Tents, and Ewan is a member of ABoB (A Band of Brothers), who are a bunch of mature males mentoring young men who were in prison.
We have 5 grown-up and independent children who don't live with us anymore and are a very happy patchwork family.
We can only offer a mattress in our dining/therapy room on the floor for 1 or 2 nights, as our guest room is rented out to a supported young person in leaving care, whom we look after.
In Spring 2018 our plan is to move onto a wide-beam barge (a big house boat) on the Thames - a complete change of life style.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why would I not be? What a great idea! We could meet amazing people and make new friends. We could help someone out, like we might need someone to help us out.
I love people's stories. I love people. I love growth and self-development. That's it really. Ewan is a sociable person, too, and he connects easily with others and is much loved by his family and friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Ewan is passionate about Blues, Rhythm and Rock. I listen to anything melodic and all sorts of World music. Yes, we like movies. But I can't ever remember any titles. Same applies to books. Guess, Ewan likes historic novels and I like memoires and real stories. My hero writer is Paolo Coelho.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been on stage and have spoken to an audience for 2 hours without much warning.
Ewan has overcome his fear and became a radio DJ.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about how to shift shit and become a happier person. I teach Mindfulness and facilitate Family Constellations (Familienaufstellungen).
Ewan is a very wise man and very funny.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I give massage (the relaxing kind - not sports or Thai), I listen, I have a lot of good tips on how to get better. Ewan loves to share his music and he is also a great listener.
