About Me

To get out of my liberal bubble (as much as i LOVE California...) in the Bay Area and have someone show me how their part of the world works!

hey folks! i'm new to this so bear with me! i'm on the road trying to gain a better understanding of how this wacky place called America works! I grew up in California (the bay area to be exact) and i love how liberal it can be. but i can also understand that it is a bubble and i think in order to become a more well-rounded person, i genuinely and sincerely would love to see other parts of this beautiful country. so i'm hoping you would be kind enough to host me (if you can) and/or possibly show me what your neck of the woods is like! i'm pretty friendly and outgoing and love to have long chats over a couple beers. if that sounds cool to you, let's hang!

the mighty oak stands tall and strong. be the tree that bends and bows in the breeze for the mighty oak is uprooted when the wind blows hard enough.

Music, traveling, books (i'm a fan of sci-fi and fantasy but i read other things as well), film, pets of all sorts!

Music, Movies, and Books

this could go on forever... but mostly indie/punk rock. let's see... i like Elvis Costello, The Clash, David Bowie, The Pixies, The Smiths, Archers of Loaf, Superchunk, yadda yadda yadda...

big fan of comedies and documentaries.

enjoy authors such as Carson McCullers, Faulkner, Fitzgerald, but mostly i've been reading Brandon Sanderson and Patrick Rothfuss lately.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Grand Canyon is so unbelievably breathtaking... out of all the places i've been in the world, it blows my mind that it took me so long to finally make it there! and it's so close (relatively speaking, of course)!

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach guitar, writing, informations systems. i'd love to learn some more practical skills like construction, plumbing, how to fix cars, etc.

Countries I’ve Visited
