About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to wander without being lost.
ABOUT ME
Greetings! I am an ecologist in training and also a musician. I spend way too much time in books and playing guitar, but I love it! I reside in Ann Arbor and work and study at the University of Michigan.
I try to be an easygoing and empathetic person, so I tend to get along with just about anyone. I love to engage in intellectual, philosophical, or just silly conversations. Being a granola ecologist, I also love being outdoors, especially places with varied topography and abundant plant life!
I am currently in Norway until Aug 25th, doing field work for my research project (with guitar in tow). In between trips we have a good deal of down time and I am excited about seeing more of the country!
PHILOSOPHY
Tough to sum up but for me, the most important road is that of humanity. Trying to be the best person possible and striving for wisdom and strength in mind, heart, and deed.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to list but put down a few fairly random picks
Movies: Pan's Labyrinth, Wristcutters, The Crow, The Lord of the Rings
Music: Katatonia, Opeth, Porcupine Tree
Books: Love in the Time of Cholera, The Manufacture of Consent
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stood atop a mountain here in Norway, looking over the alpine. The snow was receding and the streams were crisp, cold, and gushing. Magical.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you some guitar licks, random bits of ecological knowledge, and other very practical things!
