About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Developing my capoeira and personal philosophy in a new setting
ABOUT ME
18 years old, I just graduated from high school, and I am taking a year off before going back to school to explore capoeira at its roots in Brazil and work on other not-so-strictly-academic projects/thoughts. I have been a vegetarian for all eighteen years of my life, and I plan to keep it up. My vegetarianism is more habitual than idealistic, and I don't judge anyone else for eating meat. Either dietary choice seems quite natural to me.
I have been practicing capoeira for eleven years, since I was seven years old, and it is hugely important to me. There is always so much more to learn!
PHILOSOPHY
Community is a vastly important thing, which, amidst the rushed and rapid movements of life today, is often forgotten.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 9 years old, I skipped 4th grade and traveled Southeast Asia for four months with my mother. We spent time in Thailand, India, and Myanmar/Burma. It was easily the most memorable and educational experience I have had.
