Interests

These days I've been doing quite a lot of photography (not digital, mostly old film photography). I'm thinking of turning to cinema now - I'm quite a cinema addict (see below to see things I like).
I love music too. I'm an opera lover, but I myself compose on the "electro-jazz" side - I play the piano and the guitare, and sing too.
I enjoy computer programming a lot - I built several websites, and use scientific programming as a student.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: French Nouvelle vague (Godard, Truffaut, ...), Cassavetes, Aki Kaurismäki (genius !), Akira Kurosawa, Antonioni, Pasolini, David Lynch, Coen Brothers, Woody Allen, ... I love to discover new ones !
Books: I must admit that I'm not much of a reader. I tend not to finish every book I start. Some I really liked so far include Tolstoï, Kundera, Gide, ...
Music: From classical (Chopin, Bach, Debussy, ...) and opera (Baroque to 19th Century Italian), to Minimal electro (Booka Shade, Paul Kalkbrenner,...). From Jazz (Herbie Hancock, RH Factor,...) to Rock (Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Placebo, ...). And everything in the middle (Portishead, Vitalic,...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A pretty girl was sat drawing the landscape. I was behind her and wanted to take a photo of her with the landscape, without her noticing me of course. I was so close I could smell her perfume. It was very sensual.

I like to exchange ideas on hobbies we sahre - cinema, photography, music. I like to talk about political philosophy as well. But above all I love to know about others.
