我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Now my own boss with a year-old PR & Media consulting company, I am finally enjoying the freedom of working (or not) from anywhere I choose. But instead of wasting money living in soulless hotels, I choose to spend it on new experiences, transport, travel basics, and celebrating life with new friends. Which is why I'm giving Couchsurfing a try. A wee bit hesitant about doing this in India but hey... nothing ventured, nothing gained! Right?

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I started a charity-based social and environmental initiative called The Bicycle Project in 2008 with two of my friends. We collect old unwanted bicycles, refurbish them and donate them to tribal kids in rural areas outside Bombay so they can get to school easily.
Another friend started a chapter in Pune city. Both projects are still active and bringing smiles to the faces of hundreds of little village schoolchildren.

I'm a kickass cook, food geek, mixologist and have an innate need to feed other people :-) But am also curious about all aspects of food so am happy to learn all the time.
I can cook for you and also share interesting recipes based on your taste, patience levels and even on your lack of any experience in the kitchen. I truly believe ANYONE can cook, if they want to.

I've been told I'm a good teacher and I am comfortable teaching English. I use a lot of creative ways to help remember silly rules of grammar, etc.

I make a lot of body and skin care products at home using natural ingredients and essential oils. I can teach you how to do this easily.
