I'm originally Dutch, but live in Germany since 3 years.
Since I was eleven I had a big dream; becoming a kindergartner teacher. Altho I got my degree I needed to let my dream go as I got arthritis in my foot pretty early, at 22.
After a few jobs, mostly customer service support, I ended up in Germany in the hometown of my twin sister. I work for her husband as an office employee and in my free time I love spending time with their three children.

I desperately hate flying, but I found peace with it as it IS the way to explore the world. Working trough the week, but love to meet up with my loved ones during the weekend that will either take place in the Netherlands or in Germany.
Since 2007 I'm in the 'travel mood'. All started with my love for musicals. I saw more then 30 different kind of musicals in over 7 countries. Some more then 25x. It has always been a great thing to combine going to a musical and spending time with my friends.
Over the years I have visited England (sadly just London, although I love London and went there at least 20x) , Ireland, France, Spain, Malta, Greece, Austria. I can enjoy a vacation with a lot of nature and a lot of activities as much as love to enjoy a nice beach/ relax holiday. I mostly travel alone, mainly because my friends are teachers and have an other vacation schedule as I do. Therefore I love to meet new people while traveling.
I visited the USA for the first time in 2018 and I love it. I will come back to Nashville in September 2019 not only to enjoy Americana Fest, but also doing something for the community while enjoying my time off.... volunteering for Bonaparte's Retreat, the dog rescue organization from Emmylou Harris.
