Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see what I can of the world and appreciate the possibilities and natural beauty that it holds.
ABOUT ME
I'm a university student doing my graduate studies in chemistry. I also enjoy improving my German through reading, writing, and visits to German speaking countries. Even though I've mostly spent time in Germany, I'm ready to visit other places in Europe and the rest of the world.
I'm a vegan and very interested in food and cooking. I love to explore new places and new things that they can offer my palate, which are not animal products, of course.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm an open-minded person who is discovering more about myself, especially as I travel and spend time in other countries.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I can't visit friends, I'd like to stay with local people because they will know the area the best and can tell me local treasures or great areas where I can get exposed to the culture.
Interests
I love good conversation or a good dose of sarcasm. I often frequent second hand stores or flea markets, and I enjoy attempting to sew things into different clothes. Also, I like being outside and am developing a new appreciation for nature. I am often accused of being a hippie of sorts.

Music, Movies, and Books
My interest in movies is rather varied. I don't usually go for the vulgar or overly kitsch stuff. I listen to a lot of alternative and indie music, and I am a major sucker for anything with a bit of piano or strings. A band that I'm really listening to a lot at the moment is Sigur Ros. Because of my studies, I do not have a lot of time to read for fun. One of my favorite authors is Wolfgang Borchert (German).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-Biking with friends around Bodensee to the island Reichenau, taking a ferry to Switzerland, and finally biking back to Konstanz. One of the best days ever
