About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Sapiosexual Psychologist embracing Polyamory, Serendipity, and Amor Fati

ABOUT ME

"Amongst all the things I`ve lost I miss my mind the most"- Mark Twain

--> I tend to be a social chameleon with respect for all kinds of authentic people and their backgrounds and seem to fit easily into any kind of society and culture and have the ability enjoy it. I like to be flexible in social interactions, and I prefer to be surrounded by non-judgemental, honest and authentic people. I try to be an intellectual person living a life less ordinary and trying to find adventures on roads less travelled.

I generally have a full blown allergy to people who talk the talk but refuse to walk the walk. I am not very diplomatic, because there is not enough time in my life to sugarcoat the obvious to the oblivious ;).

I can be into all sorts of things be it a night out dancing in grunge-clubs or an evening of opera. Very diverse in my activities, with fluid identity.

I am genuinely and profoundly incapable of doing superficial small talk at all and have the habit of diving into intimate and personal subjects with the blink of an eye, if the connection is right. I am a feline personality and also do share my life with two cats. I participate in personality development seminars doing Systemic Constellation Work (Varga von Kibed, Sparrer) and love to exchange insights about this method.

Enneagram: Type 8 (The Challenger) with a 7 (The Enthusiast) and a 5 (The Observer) wing
Horoscope: Sun: Libra, Moon: Taurus, and Capricorn (Aquarius) in 1st house

PHILOSOPHY

" I do not consider myself less ignorant than most people. I have been and still am a seeker, but I have ceased to question stars and books; I have begun to listen to the teachings my blood whispers to me. My story is not a pleasant one; it is neither sweet nor harmonious, it has the taste of nonsense and chaos, of madness and dreams - like the lives of all men who stop deceiving themselves" -Hermann Hesse

"Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right and forget about the ones who don't. Believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. - Nobo

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate for getting to know interesting people and different cultures, and make new friends all over the world and find like-minded spirits.
I am also available if you need just a couch to crash or to sleep on and do not necessarily need you to worship me like a goddess, be my clown, or offer exciting social interaction to be able to stay with me, although of course it is still appreciated :-).

-->(For those, who are inclined to worship me, I have a special altar made for couchsurfers to proof they are not just using CS as free hotel - Just kidding, or... maybe not ;).

Quite on the contrary, I understand when you travel it is sometimes also nice to be able to stay and sleep for free and relax. I am probably also a person sometimes in need for just a place to crash without any exciting social interaction to offer

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love the project and I wish I had more time to host. Unfortunately I am very busy with my nursing education for now, and it is not always possible for me to host due to time restraints, and earthly limitations like gravity and such.
I see CS as an amazing way to immerse yourself in the culture of an area you want to explore. I met one of my best friends due to this experience.

GUESTS, PLEASE NOTE:
I do only host verified members, who idealy also do have a few references. People with unverified adresses and locations do not need to apply. Lately this project has become so big that also a lot of bogus people are on here, so this is my way of filtering strangers. Thanks for understanding.

Interests

I gather a profound, authentic and non-judgemental understanding of a variety of alternative lifestyles and subcultures.

I studied Psychology and have written my masters thesis about Polyamory .It is available as book in german as well. I am currently enrolled in a nursing education, and want to work as nurse anesthetist in the foreseeable future.

At the moment I prepare for the 2nd Non Monogamies and Contemporary Intimacies Conference, where I am member of the "Scientific Committee" & the "International Organising Committe". I am member of review committees for several academic conferences on Polyamory, also on the "International Conference on the Future of Monogamy and Nonmonogamy", which is held every year in California.

Also, I am in the lucky position to work with people, and this is a tremendous gift and makes me very fulfilled and happy

I also paint, as a hobby. My style is abstract expressionism. I use process-oriented methods of layered-painting as a method of catharsis in times of psychological crisis.

Teach, Learn, Share

Serendipity, Synchronicity, Polyamory
I live alternative lifestyles and am a vegetarian. I tried veganism, but it is too hard for me, so please apologize. Totally into green smoothies, though, and how to cuddle cats properly :)

I have published a book in german (translation in english in progress) about polyamorous biographies. On this page you find more information, and you can buy it anywhere in e-book and print. It is also mentioned in wikipedia on polyamory (german). In Deborah Anapol‘s "Love without limits in the 21st century" my research is mentioned as well.
